Contribution of CIRIEC-Japan to the Congress of CIRIEC International
・The 31st Congress was held at Reims in France from 21st to 23rd September 2016.
The common theme was “Public policies and social and democratic issues of globalisation: what projects to be developed by the public, social and cooperative economy?”

*International Scientific Council was held on 21st September. Minoru NOMURA, Munenori NOMURA and Shinichi SAITO joined into New Transversal Working Group on Commons and Global Public Goods and discussed “The redeployment of borders between public, social economy and profit organizations among others with respect to public services.” SAITO made a presentation for “The Role of the Public Sector in Provision of Local Public Services.”
*Plenary session 2, chaired by Alain ARNAUD (France), was held on 22nd September (morning), and Hajime IMAMURA was one of speakers for “ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL REALITIES IN THE WORLD.”
*Workshop A “THE STATE AS STRATEGIST AND PUBLIC POLICIES” on 22nd September (afternoon) was chaired by Munenori NOMURA. Main Rapporteur was Massimo FLORIO (Italy).
